Town of Summit: Second Public Hearing Agenda for 1128MH303-21

The procedure for the hearing will be as follows:
- Provide information on the amount of CDBG funds that were made available.
- $500,000 in total grant funds; $410,000 in construction, $65,000 in soft costs, $25,000 in Administration. All funds have been allocated.
- List the activities that were undertaken with CDBG funds.
- Demolition and removal/ disposal of old units.
- Excavated site and leveled for new home. Provided proper grade for drainage around home, seed, and mulch.
- Installed new concrete pads.
- Pumped and removed existing septic systems and upgraded and installed new septic systems.
- Installed Well system.
- Upgraded and installed electric systems.
- Purchased and installed new HUD certified, energy start rated manufactured homes.
- Site restorations as needed.
- Provide information on the amount of CDBG funds made available for activities that benefit the LMI National Objective
- $410,000 made available in construction to benefit Low to moderate income households and meet the national objective.
- If the CDBG activities undertaken resulted in displacement, review the municipality’s anti-displacement and relocation plan required under 24CFR 570.488 and how compliance was achieved.
- Since the program is a Mobile Home Replacement program which requires the demolition of the original mobile/manufactured homes OCR was aware of the ongoing progress of each project. All clients were encouraged to obtain temporary housing or stay with family but informed that if they were unable to find temporary lodging may be provided through grant funding.
- Invite and receive comments and recommendations from the public on activities that were undertaken, or on activities which were added, deleted, or substantially changed from the application submitted to the State.
