MICROENTERPRISE TRAINING PROGRAM GRADUATES 20
After eight valuable instructional sessions of WCCRC’s Microenterprise Training Course, 20 local entrepreneurs have graduated with a certificate! These existing and start-up businesses will utilize the knowledge and tools learned in the training course to enhance their business and strengthen their communities. The training covered all aspects of starting or owning a business including marketing, accounting, insurance, taxes, presenting, and writing business plans. It was offered by WCCRC in conjunction with Delaware County Economic Development in different locations throughout Delaware county both in person and online to provide more opportunity for involvement. This course is one of the qualifications needed to apply for Delaware County’s CDBG Microenterprise Grant.
